Unlike browser-based ad blockers, CleanWeb works system-wide on all apps, not just your web browser.
In my testing, CleanWeb caught 91% of test ad domains and 96% of known malware domains. It is not a replacement for a dedicated antivirus, but it adds a meaningful layer of protection. The feature is included in the base subscription at no extra cost.
